Stadium Facilities
Stadium Facilities
Your stadium facilities are a crucial source of additional income in Football Tycoon. While sponsorship deals provide steady cash flow, stadium facilities give you bonus revenue after every home game—as long as you manage them wisely. Balancing prices, upgrades, and fan happiness is the key to maximizing profits without driving fans away!
🏟️ What Are Stadium Facilities?
Stadium facilities are shops and services inside your stadium that sell products to your fans on match days. Each facility sells different items, and their prices and upgrades determine how much money you make.
Available facilities include:
- Snacks Bar
- Ice Cream Stand
- Beer Stand
- Café
- Burger Van
- Hot Dog Stand
- Gift Shop
- Museum
- Stadium (main facility itself)
Each facility generates money after every match, and the amount depends on:
- The number of fans attending the game
- The price per item you set
- The level of each facility
💰 How Pricing Works
You control the price per item in each facility via the Manage Screen. Use a slider to adjust prices in real-time, and you’ll get instant feedback showing how fans will react.
- Higher prices increase your profits per fan, but also decrease fan happiness.
- Lower prices make fans happier but reduce profits.
You need to find the sweet spot between maximizing earnings and keeping fans satisfied.
⚖️ Fan Reaction to Prices
Each facility has a fan reaction scale:
- Best Reaction (+50%) ➜ When prices are set to the minimum ($0).
- Worst Reaction (-50%) ➜ When prices are set to the maximum allowed price, based on your upgrades.
The fan reaction from each facility is averaged into your stadium’s overall satisfaction score, which directly impacts fan happiness and growth.
🛠️ Upgrading Facilities
Upgrading a facility increases:
- The maximum price you can charge per fan.
- The effectiveness of prices on fan happiness (you can charge higher prices with less negative impact).
For example:
- A Gift Shop upgrade increases the price per fan you can charge, while reducing how much fans dislike higher prices.
- Each facility upgrade also costs money, but there’s no wait time—upgrades are instant as long as you have the funds.
💡 Formula (for deeper players)
- Max Price Per Fan = Base Price × Level Multiplier × (Upgrade Level + 1)
- Higher levels = bigger price limits and more profit opportunities!
📈 Why Stadium Facilities Matter
- Stadium facilities provide passive income after every home game, depending on attendance and pricing.
- Happy fans lead to bigger crowds, and bigger crowds = more sales!
- Overpricing drives fans away, which lowers attendance and impacts sponsor deals and league performance.
🔥 Pro Tips
- After upgrading a facility, raise prices gradually and watch the fan reaction. Don’t go from $1 to $10 in one step!
- If your fan happiness drops too low, lower prices across the board to win them back.
- Prioritize upgrades for facilities with higher base prices, like the Museum, Gift Shop, and Stadium, as they offer larger returns.
- Upgrade facilities early in new leagues—more fans at higher levels mean greater sales potential!
Your stadium isn’t just for games; it’s a money-making machine. Manage your facilities well, and you’ll create a reliable, growing source of revenue to fund your team’s rise to football dominance!
